USA Cricket
USA Cricket (USAC) is the governing body of cricket in the United States. USA Cricket governs all the United States national representative cricket teams, including the mens' and womens' national teams and youth teams, as well as Minor League Cricket, which is the highest level of domestic American T20 cricket.
The governing body was unveiled on September 24, 2017, as a proposed successor to the United States of America Cricket Association, which had been expelled from the International Cricket Council (ICC) in June 2017 due to governance issues. Minor League Cricket
In the 2021 season, 27 teams competed across four geographic divisions – Eastern, Central, Southern and Western – with the opening weekend matches held on July 31st and Aug 1st. Ten weekends of competitive play concluded with the Minor Cricket League (MiLC) Finals held during the weekend of early October.
MiLC is the only nationwide tournament involving mens' teams playing against each other forming critical part of the evolving domestic USA cricket structure and pathway. Major League Cricket
Major Cricket League (MLC) is exclusively sanctioned by USA Cricket, represents the most ambitious and transformational venture ever undertaken in the American cricket landscape. Focused on staging world class T20 cricket for American cricket fans, MLC will feature top players around the globe and provide a stage for domestic cricketers to showcase their talents to a worldwide audience.
As the ICC's member body for the United States, USA Cricket has selected MLC as its exclusive partner for the development of a professional T20 cricket league. MLC will also provide support for both the USA’s Mens' and Womens' teams, with the goal of elevating them to the highest level of international competition.
In 2024, the USA will co-host the ICC Mens' T20 World Cup alongside the West Indies.
